Terms and Conditions of Use


These Terms and Conditions of Use are applicable to weekonline.com, an email service published by the internet company WeekOnline International ApS.


Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use thoroughly so that you can help us ensure that the form and content of WeekOnline' is of a high quality at all times. When you create, activate and upgrade an email account on weekonline.com, you are obliged to comply with the Terms and Conditions of Use outlined below.

Activation:
Until you activate your account, you will only be able to receive a maximum of 10 messages in your Inbox. This limit has been set in order to prevent misuse and it will disappear when you have activated your WeekOnline account.

You will be asked to activate your account the first time you log in to www.weekonline.com. Here, you will also be asked to enter some account information which, for example, will enable us to help you if you forget your password in the future.

There is no charge for activating your account and, in this free trial version, the capacity of your inbox will be 10MB for 3 months. If you would like more space, or if you would like to continue with your account after the trial period expires, you can upgrade your mail account.

Warning: If you do not activate your WeekOnline account within 14 days it will be automatically deactivated.

Use of weekonline.com
Once you have created and activated an account, you will be able to send and receive e-mails to and from weekonline.com. The first 3 months is free and gives you a capacity of 10MB of space in your Inbox. If you require more space, or want to continue after the trial period, you can upgrade your WeekOnline account to get this. We reserve the right to change the capacity that is made available in the standard version.

If you wish to back up your data in your WeekOnline account, your account must be upgraded. No back-ups of data are made on free trial accounts.

Prices and payments terms are outlined below.

WeekOnline's obligations
weekonline.com will provide a web-based email service whereby you can log in to your WeekOnline email account from an internet browser from any computer with internet access whatsoever.

Users' obligations
As a user of WeekOnline you are obliged:

  • Not to provide any type of inaccurate or false information in connection with your account.
  • Not to set up accounts for anyone other than yourself and not to give the recipients of messages you have sent a false impression of whom they are in dialogue with.
  • Not to use WeekOnline to send messages which may appear offensive or insulting to the recipients.
  • Not to send, from yourself or others, spam e-mails from your WeekOnline account.
  • To activate your account in accordance with the instructions you receive in your Welcome email when you created your WeekOnline account.

  • If you fail to comply with these obligations we reserve the right to deactivate or delete your WeekOnline account without warning.

    Prices and payment terms
    Should a user wish to upgrade his/her WeekOnline account, this requires the user to have a subscription.

    All subscriptions are billed for 6 months at a time; the first of these bills is issued at the time of upgrading:

    Prices and payment terms for subscriptions are as follows:

  • 100MB, USD 8.00/month, total debited USD 48.00
  • 10GB, USD 16.00/month, total debited USD 96.00
  • 50GB, USD 24.00/month, total debited USD 144.00
  • 100GB, USD 32.00/month, total debited USD 192.00

  • Prices are applicable from 1.9.2013 and include VAT.

    Once you have upgraded your account, daily back-ups of your data are made so that it is totally secure. Data can be reestablished for up to seven days after the last back-up.

    The upgraded email account will be available once payment has been completed, which is normally within 15 minutes.

    Subscription terms and conditions:
    All subscriptions are extended automatically upon the expiry of each payment period until the user cancels his/her subscription. With this subscription, users no longer run the risk of the ordered subscription running out. The payment amount demanded will always be in accordance with the applicable prices at the time of collection.

    CANCELLATION of subscription and account deactivation:
    A user can cancel his/her subscription at any time with effect from the end of the current payment period. A subscription cannot be cancelled or downgraded retrospectively. However, the purchased upgrade will be available until the subscription period expires.

    When a subscription is cancelled, the mail account will be deaktivated, and no further demands for payment will be made.

    Deletion of account:
    WeekOnline is only for active users. If a user does not upgrade his/her WeekOnline account for 90 days af the trial or upgrade has expired, it is deleted automatically so that he/she is not using up space that can be given to new users. If a user wishes to delete his/her account him/herself, this can be done at www.weekonline.com under the "Settings" tab. Remember that an account must be activated before a user can deactivate or delete it.
